Then Victorian Premier Steve Bracks comments on the Liberals\u2019 election proposal for a desalination plant, November 13, 2006 shortly before the 2006 state election.<\/p>\n
Of course we now know the real hoax was on those Victorian voters who believed and trusted Bracks and his party.<\/p>\n
Our group, from the Bass Coast Victoria, believe that there are sustainable solutions to Victoria\u2019s water shortages without the environmental catastrophe the Wonthaggi desalination plant will cause.<\/p>\n
