Watershed is a founding member of Victorian Water Forum which launched on 21 October 2008 with a publicly released position statement followed by the VWF Media Launch and a statement, several days later

The position statement (click on image at side) demonstrates the growing unity amongst communities across Victoria fed up with Brumby/Holding bullying and having daft mega-projects dumped on them , and showing the bully boys how to do the job properly: recycling trumps desalination and stealing from the Murray Darling Basin.
